Trying new designs and explore other trends of jewellery is what I have been doing since early this year. I think a break from designing exclusive jewellery have gave me a chance to learn more about other trends of jewellery. Doing this type of jewellery also gave me, an idea of my what to improve on my exclusive designs.

Ladies interlocking rings

This is my latest design that I am working on. It is one design but split into two ideas, the other one it comprises of three pieces the other one just two pieces. My main objective with this design, was to try to design a piece that is for the ladies. The ring that has two pieces it is going to include stones on the flat surface, I am not sure what color yet but the metal is going to be starling silver. It is going to have some writing on it.

The design is the same as the previous one. I changed the center band to look different. The main issue with this one was to take the same idea and make some changes, to make it look more interesting. I made the center band to look different from the side bands, so that the entire set has contrast and does not look like its one solid ring. I used a blacken solution to make it look darker, but the metal is still starling silver.

This is the final piece of the CAD{rhino} design I posted last week. I have finally managed to cut it on the machine and cast it. This is still the development of my interlocking rings. The main aim with this one was to make it with rounder edges. Because most of the previous design had more sharp edges, and it has flat surfaces. I also made this to be strictly three pieces you can not add more piece, you can not wear it if one piece is out or missing. The side bands you can flip them to face back and front, they are also tight fit.

Acrylic bracelet

I have finished assembling the elements of my bracelet. I changed a few things from the original design and rearranged the elements so that the bracelet functions better. The thread bar and nuts function well with acrylic elements. I think on my next bracelet I would like to mix the colors so that there is a contrast. I think I can widen it by adding more elements, and I will paint the nuts because at the moment they look too bright with the light purple.

The other day I was at the fine art student's workshop I saw this roller that they use. What interest my eye with this roller was the way gears functions to produce movement of the entire roller . It a manual roller which makes it easy to study. The big wheel that is moved by the hand moves the big gear which moves the entire roller. What I learned about this roller is that the bigger the wheel that starts the movement, the faster the motion. I think that is the principle of engineering.

This is a sawing machine component, I found it on the scrap yard . What I like about this component is that it can move up and down. My aim with this component was to use it to make an office chair. It is going to connect the set together with back of the chair, and it going to unable the back of the chair to move up and down. My design for this chair is on my previous post.

Acrylic bracelet

I have finally managed to cut all the elements for my bracelet, I used light purple acrylic for the elements. Then I used thread bars with nuts in order to fasten the elements together. I am not finished assembling the elements together yet. I think the elements need to be rearranged so that the bracelet will be stronger and function better. I also need to paint or glue the nuts so that they do not came apart after fasten them. I think I have worked out most of the problems, that are going to make the final piece better and stronger.

This ring is based on that idea of interlocking pieces. It comprises of three pieces of rings that joints together to make one ring. With this ring I was trying to make the edges more round, my main focus was on the center ring. I was trying to develop the previous idea which had sharp edges, so I was making this one round so that it is more comfortable.

The main aim with this renderings was to check how the bracelet is going to look like in two different metals which have different tones. The main issue with this bracelet is try to make it in different materials metal and acrylic. At moment I am making it out of light purple acrylic.

Now I am trying to improve my designs. I came with this idea of this bracelet and designed it last term, but I did not practical made. Because I was not sure how I was going to make it and which material was going to be suitable for this design. At the beginning I wanted to use metal, that idea did not worked because the gear elements were too thick. It was going to consume too much metal. Then I decided to change it to perspex because it gave me enough material and space. The main issue with this bracelet, is how are the gear elements going to move together and facilitating the movement of the bracelet.

At the moment I am cutting the prototypes of gear elements on the CAD\CAM. According to the CAD\rhino drawings it is going to work. I am going to use the thread bar in order to joint all the components together, and use nuts to fasten it together. The main idea of using the thread bar with nuts, is to give it that industrial look and also have different types of high - tech material.

This is the new design that I am working on. I have been inspired by this industrial objects and then trying to apply that idea into jewellery. But now I am trying to design this objects and make them . Now I am combining together jewellery design and industrial design. This is my first design an office chair, I have been collecting the components I will need from the local scrap yard. Most of the work I am doing it on the CAD/rhino planning and solving problems of my the design.

This ring is a development of the ring that I made late last year. The idea of this ring started as an eternity ring. After cutting it on the CNC I decided to leave it without stones. After finishing polishing it looked interesting without stones, so this is the design that developed from that idea. This ring is much more better than the first one. It is lighter in weight, and it is more 3d compared to the first one. The main aim with this ring, I was trying to simplify the idea of the ring one. The main issue with the first ring is that it was too big and it was not wearable, and it was too flat.

I think the idea of this design is good but, I still need to develop it on another piece. I received a good response from people about this design, that is the reason for developing it so that I can get more customers.

Gear rings [starling silver]

Few months ago I made this design using another metal nickel silver. Since then I have been thinking of ways to improve this design, the idea of using another type of metal so that they have different color tones. The previous ring I made it out of nickel silver, this one is made out of starling silver. I think the difference between this two ring is big, but not in the way that I wanted it to be. The design still looks like it needs something to be add on it, but I am not sure at moment what is it that I can add.

The main issue with this ring is that it looks like its a solid piece, I do know like that is not what I want. Because this ring comprises of three separated components, so I like that to be visible to someone who is viewing it. The center band looks too flat, I think it needs something to be added like a design or texture so that it looks interesting. All this issues I will try fix it on the next piece, I'm just gone keep this one like this in case a customer wants this design. The main aim about this idea of developing a designs, is to have many designs that I can offer my customers.

This is the ring that came from that idea of the gears, so this is another version or development of the original piece that I designed few month's ago. Most of my designs I start them then I put them aside, then start a new design. While I am working with the new one, I think about ways of developing the previous one. This ring consist of three pieces, initially this ring was part of the ring that was five pieces. I took that idea then try to simplify into a three pieces ring. I think this ring is much more better then the first one.

With this ring I changed few element compared to the initial idea. Firstly I changed the metal from starling silver to aluminium and also blacken it so that it has two tones. My main aim was to put some contrast so that it does not look like solid ring. The other thing that I changed on this ring is how the entire ring is assembled, this one is tight fit compered to the first one which was loosely.

Square shape ring

This is the second prototype of my design that is inspired by the geometric square shapes. It is made out of starling silver and titanium. The idea of changing the entire design from wood and metal, to the piece that is made out, of just metal is working very well. The ring looks stronger and feels a lot stronger when is in the body. Now that I have made this second prototype I have managed to work out the measurements correctly. Now that I am using the metal to make the square shapes. I can able also to shape it carved so that it follows the round shape of the entire ring, something I could not able to do with maisonette wood.

This two prototypes I have made so far together with rhino {CAD} drawing. I have managed to point out and solve problems, I think I am ready to make the final piece now.

Square shape ring

This is the first actual prototype of that ring I am currently working on. I it is made out of copper, titanium, and maisonette wood is inspired by geometric shapes. The first problem I encountered when I was making this prototype, is that I have to link square shapes from the center edges so that the ring is going to be proportional an stronger. The initially idea was to use the jump links to connect the square shapes with the thick wires on the sides. The other issue was the size and the number of the of the square shapes, because the entire ring is held together by this center square shapes.

The other issue with this prototype is that the wood on this design does not work well, so on my next prototype I am going to make it out metal only. I think that will also make the entire ring more stronger. I think now that I have pointed out this issues, I have to solve those problems on my next piece and the make the final piece.

This is the CAD design for the ring that I am currently making. I have manangered to plan and worked out the measurements of this ring nicely on CAD. The design is more real now than the concept sketches on the piece of paper. The idea of the ring is coming nicely now that I have done the design on CAD I think its just that advantage of CAD program which make easy for me to my designs. The difference between the sketches and the CAD design is big. Now I have to make the actual prototype before I make the final piece on platinum.

The square shape ring

This is my current design that I am working on. Its a ring is inspired by geometric shapes, I was trying to combine two elements the flat plate, wire and use the small wire to assemble all the components together to give the piece that mechanical engineering look. The other thing is that I want is that all the shapes from the center must be able to move along the two thick wires that also acts as sides bands that holds the ring together. The mechanical part of this ring is where the jump rings links together the square shapes at the center together and then also holds together the sides bands which are made out of thick wires. The small jump rings must be able to move along the sides bands, which makes the square shapes move if you move it using your fingers.

According to my working drawings it looks like is going to work, but I am going to draw it on rhino{CAD} to test if its going to work. The drawing on rhino{CAD} is going to bring it much closer to real piece, is going to able to check what measurements must I use. I need to do just one actual prototype before I make the final piece. The reason is that I am going to make this piece by hand and, I am also going make it out of platinum.

Mid year exhibition

This is my display for my mid year exhibition. I used steel cables thread rods and perspex, I wanted a display that was going with the theme of my jewellery. The main thing was to came out with the display that has an industrial look. Because my jewellery is inspired by industrial machines and engineering . The roller door was also part of my display and worked very well for my display. I think this is the basic idea of my main display at end of the year. I am going to develop this idea into a bigger scale than this one and also include some more elements. I think I need more light on my display.

I receive a good response from the people who came on this exhibition, but most of them were interested on the jewellery. The were very moved by the idea of engineered jewellery, and the way I explore my designs. I think now I have to focus on developing the designs that I have came out with so far. I am also exploring other types of metals especially those look different from sliver because I want my interlocking pieces to have a contrast.

This is the finished piece of the ring that I have been working on lately. The designs comprise of five pieces that makes up one ring when you join them together. I designed this ring so that you can also wear it as two different rings like shown on the pictures, and then you can also join them together as one ring that has different layers. All the pieces are sterling silver, but I also used the blackening solution on the other four pieces of the ring.

I wanted to give the ring different tones so that it does not look like one static ring. The main issue with this ring is that all the pieces must fit tight, so that when the piece is on the body it does not come out easily. The main difference between this design and the previous one is that this design consist of five piece, but I think I can still improve this design but I'm still not sure what to change. This concept of gear rings is working fine so far.

This is the CAD drawings for the concept sketches on my previous post. Basically this is the development of my previous design of gear rings. Lately I have decided to focus on gears as an inspiration on my designs and develop it further. The difference between this design and the previous design is that this design is much more complex and comprises of five pieces all the this pieces fit into their respective places.

All the five pieces fit together to form one piece, but you can move all the pieces in and out if like. What I want to do with the final piece is to make the metal to be different with different tones and different finishing and different textures. The reason for doing this is make the piece to show that the piece is made out of different pieces that fits in different places.

I have been developing the idea of the gear rings this is the latest design of it. This are the concept sketches basically this is where every start with the pen and paper, and also look very closely into my inspirations. Then after I take the same drawings and then put on CAD{rhino} in order to see if the design can work out or not as piece of jewellery. The previous design I made it to be three pieces, and this is the improved design because it is more complex than the previous piece and it comprises of five pieces. This is the latest design of the gear rings that I am currently working on at the moment. I made a few changes while I was cutting it on the CNC because there was same few issues that came up when I was cutting and casting it, the first thing was the teeth of the gears on the side bands did not fit nicely on the center band. I had to redesign from rhino{CAD} make the size of the gear teeth different and spaces on the centre band to be 0.50. Before that the band could not fitting on the centre band.

The other issue was that the teeth on the sides bands were too sharp, so I had to make them a bit flat so that they can allow the gears to move more smoothly like on the first picture. The other thing is that the next step from here is to develop this idea into another piece, the main thing the I want to do with the next piece is that this piece should have an element, that is going to show that it was made out of machine.

The other thing is that the contrast of sterling silver and nickel sliver is working nicely, like on this ring the center band is made out of nickel sliver and the two sides bands out of sterling silver, but with the next piece I want to make the finishing rough and shining. With this ring the two metals are both shining and that makes it difficult to see that there different metals.

Neckpiece

With this piece I am trying to push my design and develop it into much a bigger piece but still using elements of the gear. The difference between this neck piece and bracelet is that the bracelet has got more gear element and is shorter than neck piece. Because the neckpiece is longer, it has more room for movement. The issue with this piece is, I am trying to use this gear element as the only element to make up the whole neckpiece. This allows me to apply actual mechanical movement easily.

The process of exploring with the gears I am pushing it into another level, by designing different types of jewellery pieces but still focusing on gears motion and using one element into a set of jewellery pieces. This a actual mechanical movement that is another reason it makes so interesting to work with, another thing is the gear element is practical to transform it into a jewellery scale by using CAD program and CNC to cut the wax models.

This is the most complicated piece I have design and cut on CNC I am also looking forward on how the real piece is going to look like, but according to the design on CAD[rhino] it is going to function. In few days from now I think I'll be finish cutting it and casting it then I'll post it for every one to see it, the thing is that I have been preoccupied by my research report, since this is my final year at school, that is why my practical work is not moving as fast as I want it to be.

This is the design that I started a few mouths ago, the previous design was two pieces. Now I am trying to make it more complex and interesting, , the difference between the two pieces and three pieces is that the two pieces was one ring copied into two rings the were both the same and equal size, so this is opposite to that one because the two rings on the sides are the same and equal but the center ring is design to join the hall ring together to make it one ring. According to CAD the design is going function nicely so this is the development of that design. The idea of this design I took it from the gears the way they move, and the way the fit and be able to move by pushing each other.

This is the same idea of the fitting rings but with this one I am trying another way for this rings to fit into each other, the teeth are different from the first one this one are more round and it does not fit tied like the one that is three pieces. What I like most about this ring is that it is strong enough so that you be able to wear the two pieces separately and it is safe because the teeth are not sharp but round to make it more comfortably.

This piece is inspired by industrial bolt , this are my concept sketch's and CAD drawings. It was much easy to transform the idea of bolt into a piece of jewellery, because they are almost on the same scale . The main idea about this piece was to make a spinning motion, the concept of a spinning motion it is practical on the piece of jewellery. This piece consist of four components they all moving undependly, so this is still a progress of my design I still have to cut the piece and cast it into a final product.

I am trying to make a display that is different from the previous years, I like the idea of a display that is not common, but different and follows my theme . The idea that I want to go for is that of a industrial designers display, becuase that is where my inspiration comes from, when I design my jewellery. Industrial designers makes objects, like moving office chair and moving toys , so I want my jewellery to look like moving objects on small scale. I like my display to move not be static, so I am going to use small motors to apply movement on my display.

This is the hollow construction ring it is three dimensional, it has setting . What I enjoyed doing while making this piece is the hollow construction, I also like the 3d shape . The setting makes it more interesting and gives it a focus point, this piece was much easy than the pieces I did before, I think its because I have done more pieces that are hollow constructed now I am getting used to it. This piece is for the same customer that ordered that hollow construction bracelet with stones so its more like set of jewellery. The fact that I handmade it makes it worth posting.

This is the ring that I have been making lately but its not finished yet, I have just finish casting it I have made small changes from the initially idea. The ring consist of three components not two like before , I think the reason for changing I was just developing the idea. All the pieces are fitting together nicely and moving according to the plan, but I think I have to still develop the idea further into another piece of jewellery there is pendant that I am designing at the moment that is going to be part of this ring.

Making cars using wire its something I enjoyed doing when I was young boy, the main idea was to make toys for playing with my friends. The idea of designing started at that stage I would design all the pieces separately and then cut it into small pieces of wire then construct it together, I would solve the problems by myself. I started by making very simple ideas then push my designs by making them more complex and three dimensional with actual movement with wheels, moving doors, sets, mirrors, and all the other components of the car. All this designs no one helped me I just looked into the actual car on the street because there was no car at home, go back home think how to apply it in my car. There was a big competion in my group about who would make a nice car, so I would take my time making it.

This is the favourite part of my research, where I am exploring with the industrial objects. Basically I am influenced by all the industrial objects that we use in our every day life or that is in our surroundings, what real interest me about this objects is the mechanical part of it, the way it was designed and put together and try to identify the the mechanism that produces the movement. After that I try to applie that movement on my jewellery pieces, so I use CAD to so solve all the mechanical problems and make the prototypes.

This is the hollow constructed bangle with cubic stones the clasp is the box catcher, because the bangle is the big piece so it needs a big clasp with two hook wires on both sides. This piece it was an order from a customers, he only told me that he wants a bangle then I design it using CAD showed him then I made it, but I handmade it because I could not cut it because of the under cuts, and it is a piece with alots of separate components . It is also a big piece so it was not difficult to construct it together, the fact that it was not just a piece that I made for a customer but it is part of my research work ,so with this piece it about construction and movement of a piece. The fact that this piece sold its a good sign, especially that this year I am trying to find a target market for my jewellery. I am going to make more of this bangle and put it on the market to see how many I can sell.

This are gold earrings 9ct yellow,I made them specially for a customers. What I enjoyed most when I was making this earrings is the geometric shape and fact that are not flat but 3d. The main issue when I was Making this earrings was how to make it 3d since I was making them on the bench I did few prototypes to test which technique works better, and the wire pin was also a problem because it kept on breaking, but I am happy with end product and costumer was I also happy. I think I am going to make more of this earrings in different geometric shapes and organic shape and put it on the market. With this piece I learned that I can also make 3d shape on the metal accurately without the use of CAD, by doing so I am compering CAD with hand making. But CAD still works more fast, accurately and can solve problems of the piece before the piece is made.

What I learned most about this piece is that my abilities to use CAD are helping alot when I am dealing with my customers, they I understand my designs clearly on CAD drawings because they 3d and accurate and renderings are very close to real pieces, compered to free hand sketches.

This is another ring for the customer, my aim this jewellery that I have been doing since the beginning of the year, I am trying to establish a market for my the jewellery that I make for my BTECH so that by the time I walk out of school I already have my target market for 'movement in jewellery'. What I am trying to do at moment is to get customers show them what I make and try to improve my designs according to they specifications, basically I am trying to fuse my designs with they test. What makes me be positive about my work this year is that three pieces they were sold and I have some few more orders to make that are going to pay.

This is the first piece I have made for a customer this year, this design is not related to my work that I do for my BTECH, what I learned most about this piece is to work with twisted wire and make an interesting piece this is technique I have not done for a very long time. What was challenging about this piece kept the wires accurate with the round finish and tidy, this is a hand made piece I did not cut it on CNC because I am compering the two to see which piece looks better.

This project was the development process of the previous project “platinum project”, since that idea I never finished because of time that I was given to finish the project the reason was that the idea was not developed enough to be manufactured that’s why I changed the hall project into a ring.

But now I am gone spent much time possible to develop the idea and manufacture it. On this round I decided to have a reference or industrial object that I can refer to and look into it while I making this “Mechanical motion”, it also helped me to resolve some technical issues on the bench. About 70% of the bracelet was done through Rhino (CAD) and CNC machine, the bicycle chain was my inspiration on this bracelet.

The bicycle chain helped me a lot especially on putting all the pieces together, the final piece is much more than I expected may be its because I am relieved that final I have something in my hands that I call it a piece of jewellery based on this “Mechanical motion”. I am going to make some more pieces based on it, on the later stage; also I will have to work on the weight because it looks a bit heavy. The clasp I think it fits the design of whole bracelet nicely and the fact that you differentiate between the links and clasp that’s what makes the clasp so interesting, it is also so easy to open and close.

Concertina bracelet

This is the progress on my concertina ban gel this are just prototypes pieces, I have been looking into different materials that I can use for this ban gel but I still not have a piece of material that works nicely for my ban gel, this two prototypes out of many prototypes that are were made of different materials are the only pieces that were successful, but the thing with this prototypes the top one is too black but the idea of the concertina it can work and it is strong enough to be a ban gel, I think just have to changer the color of my ban gel and then just make a finished piece because the second prototype I do not think it is going to work because its not strong enough to be a ban gel, the end product of the ban gel I think it is going to look nicely.

This is the industrial bracelet piece that I have been working on, it is not finished yet I just wanted show to the progress,I think it is coming together nicely its just that it is taking me longer then I though but I am happy with the progress, I just have to cut more links from the CNC machine and then cast it, the clasp that I want for this clasp it has to connect very nicely with the design of the bracelet and the other thing that I want to include on this bracelet is the patterns, I have been looking into some industrial patterns but I'm still not sure yet what to go with, I am gone cut them on CNC because I want them to be accurate.

One day I was walking around as usually, looking for some inspirations for my work on Sydney road DBN, on Sydney Road that’s where the center of industrial workshops are located and big factories, scrap yards etc, so I make it a point to visit this place every now and then, on this particular day I took every close look on this vintililattion pipe of which I have been seeing for a very long time but never payed any attention on it and there was something interesting about it and that was aspinning motion.

I think the reason why I never payed any specially attention on it, its because of the spinning motion it was too challenging for me on how I was gone transform that into a piece of jewellery but that I just wanted to take my chances and see the results and think that is why I took a bit long to finish this pieces. On this piece I tried both Rhino CAD and practical making in order finish the ring at the center I used the CNC to cut into a wax model and the cast it. The trick part and of which I think was the most challenging in the making of the piece.

I am happy with the final product the idea that I was intending to produce it was successful, but still this is not a final piece that is based on this idea but for now I am gone leave it on this stage and think new idea on how and where to improve on the new piece and then compare them. I am also thinking of putting some stones to make the piece a bit interesting. Some of the concepts skechs that I did I think the to be more practical and be more wearable. This ring I think it look just a bit too heavy but over roll results of the Spinning motion it worked very well and of which was my main focus, I am happy with it.

Concertina bangel

The idea of this ban gel is inspired by the concertina the way it moves and its flexibility, the old cameras were designer ed based on that idea, on the picture I used the old camera to investigate, and take close look on the concertina, above are the concept sketches of how the ban gel is going to look like, basically it is going to be half solid and then half concertina and I am still planning it on CAD rhino on how I am going combine all the pieces together.

Concertina ring{platinum}

This ring was inspired by the concertina music instrument,the main aim was design a ring that bends and moves with the finger,its made out of platinum.

With this idea of a concertina motion I think I am going too spent more time making different types of jewelery, at the moment I am making a banged of which I am hoping that is going to come out nice. This bangle I am making it in different ways , but the motion is still the same the reason being that I am exploring different ways of making this concertina the fastest and the better ways. The ring still needs some improvement so that it can move loosely because it still fells just a bid stiff, I also have to workout the idea of the wires that make the rivet to be more comfortable.

Moving components ring

The idea behind this ring was to creat ring that have small components that makes part of the ring but moves independly from the ring.The concept comes from moving blinds.

With this ring I was pushing my abilities both on design and manufacturing, the moving of small components along the channel. My inspiration for this ring comes from moving blinds; the idea was to design a ring that have small components moving like exactly the blinds, that ‘linear motion” of the blinds. But the thing that was real challenging about this piece was how to put it together.

Firstly I started by making it in the bench, because I was not too sure where to start. I had some problems when I was fitting these components on the ring. The were not flowing smoothly on the groove. So then I have to consider the way I manufactured this ring, the next step is to cut all the pieces on the CNC and then cast it. But with this way I had problem about how I cut this components on the CNC.

Concertina ring

The design of this ring was inspired by the cousitina music instrument,the material that I used is silver and titanium .

The concertina motion was the most interesting one up to so far, on this motion I have able to make couple of piece and of which I think all of them they shown the best of me, I started with a lot of prototypes together with Rhino (CAD) designs in order to solve the manufacturing problems before I get into a bench but unfortunately I haven’t be able to find a way to cutter it on the CNC machine because the CNC that I am currently using can not cut the under cuts.

The prototype that I started with was on paper cuts and then transforms it into metal it worked out fine; I also made the final one in platinum for the competition. The inspiration behind this idea of a concertina motion comes from a musical instrument and old camera the ones that were made out of leather. The big challenge about this idea is to make that concertina into a small scale of a piece of jewellery.

Moving blinds final piece

This is the finished piece of the ring, it is inspired by the moving blinds. This ring consist of three section that moves independently from each other, but function as one ring.

This ring is real pushing my abilities on both design and making, especially on CAD and CNC like this the way I cut this components together. But the end product of this project I think was successful even it took longer than I thought. I think there still a room of improvement but that will be on the later stage, when I have ideas on how to improve it, for now I am gone look into another industrial object and design piece of jewellery. The inspiration of this the blinds I think there still a lot of ideas of pieces that I am going pursue in future. The linear motion it the first piece I did based on it.

This is the set of earring's and the pendant, the idea behind this set was to design and make a piece that consist of small separate components linked together as one piece and be able to be flexible.

With this piece I was trying to develop an idea that I started last year with a pair of earrings that I design last year. With this idea I was trying to make a piece of jewellery that comprises of small components that are linked together and form one piece that can be able to be “flexible” and move the inspiration of the idea comes piece that made last year it was a bracelet made out of shells that I collected from the beach the other day, I was just playing with this shells with no intention of making a piece of jewellery then out of no where an-idea of linking this pieces of shells together came to my mind.

Then I started linking them together using a rope that was soft but strong enough for bracelet. Actually this was the initially stage of my research , so I was trying to start to make this type of jewellery. The n I became so interested in making this jewellery with this piece I was trying to discover my area of work. But with whole set of this jewellery both earring and pendant, I think it was the start of my research and the idea of linking small components together it was successful.

But I think there a space and room of improvement that I need to focus on. The other thing that I still need to do is the background of my work and do look for references so that I can have a larger pool of inspiration to look from so that my work can improve and have connection in between. So on this piece my focus was the “flexibility motion” I think it worked but on the later stage I am going to make another one based on this “flexibility motion”
